01302 is the area code for Doncaster in South Yorkshire, which was granted city status in 2022. The area is an important rail and logistics hub. Calls from 01302 numbers might come from City of Doncaster Council, Doncaster Royal Infirmary, GP surgeries, schools, warehouse and distribution companies, or local tradespeople. Because UK landline numbers can be ported between providers and used on internet phone systems in any location, and because scammers can spoof a local-looking number, use the caller ID as a clue rather than proof, and verify requests for money or information.
Who called me from 01302?
The prefix tells you where the line was originally registered (Doncaster), but not who is behind it. Numbers can be ported between networks and caller ID can be spoofed, so a familiar code is no guarantee. Search the full number to see its current carrier, line type and whether other people have reported it.
