01727 is the area code for St Albans, a cathedral city in Hertfordshire, and nearby villages. St Albans has a history going back to the Roman town of Verulamium and today is a commuter city with many professional services firms. Calls from 01727 numbers might come from St Albans City and District Council, NHS services, GP surgeries, schools, solicitors, accountants or local businesses. Geographic numbers such as 01727 numbers can be ported and used through VoIP services anywhere, and they can be spoofed, so a St Albans number on screen is not proof of who is calling.
Who called me from 01727?
The prefix tells you where the line was originally registered (St Albans), but not who is behind it. Numbers can be ported between networks and caller ID can be spoofed, so a familiar code is no guarantee. Search the full number to see its current carrier, line type and whether other people have reported it.
