01803 is the area code for Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, the towns that make up Torbay on the south Devon coast, sometimes called the English Riviera. Tourism, hospitality and fishing are important to the local economy. Calls from 01803 numbers may come from Torbay Council, Torbay Hospital, GP surgeries, schools, hotels, holiday parks or local businesses. Like any UK geographic number, an 01803 number can be ported or used through an internet phone service elsewhere, and caller ID can be spoofed, so treat an unexpected call from a Torbay number with normal caution.
Who called me from 01803?
The prefix tells you where the line was originally registered (Torquay), but not who is behind it. Numbers can be ported between networks and caller ID can be spoofed, so a familiar code is no guarantee. Search the full number to see its current carrier, line type and whether other people have reported it.
