024 is the area code for Coventry and surrounding parts of Warwickshire, including Nuneaton and Bedworth. It replaced 01203 in 2000, and local numbers have eight digits. A call from an 024 number might come from Coventry City Council, University Hospital Coventry, a GP surgery, the university, a motor-industry supplier or any local business. Like every UK landline code, 024 numbers can be moved between providers and used over the internet from anywhere, and scammers can display a spoofed 024 number, so a familiar local code is not by itself proof that a caller is genuine.
Who called me from 024?
The prefix tells you where the line was originally registered (Coventry), but not who is behind it. Numbers can be ported between networks and caller ID can be spoofed, so a familiar code is no guarantee. Search the full number to see its current carrier, line type and whether other people have reported it.
